Uttarakhand Heritage (7 Days / 6 Nights Ex-Delhi)
Day 01: Arrival at Delhi* On to Corbett (270kms / approx. 7 hour drive)

Welcome to your ‘Uttarakhand Heritage’ Tour! On arrival at the Delhi airport or railway station (on your own) you will proceed by surface to Corbett. On arrival into Corbett, check into your hotel.
Day 02: On to Nainital (60kms / approx. 2 hour drive)
In the morning visit the Corbett National park and take a jeep safari which is the best way to see the jungle with its wildlife (the park is open between 15th November to 15th June). Afternoon drive to the charming hill station of nainital, set around the 1.5km long and 500m wide Naini Lake. In the evening take a stroll down the mall or enjoy a boat ride across the naini lake (Boats can be hired directly there).

Day 03: In Nainital
This morning, enjoy an excursion to the lakes, which includes Sat Tal, a group of seven lakes including the famous jade green Garud Lake, the larger Bhim Tal and Naukuchiya Tal which is a lake with nine corners where you will have the opportunity for some boating and paddling (Boats can be hired directly there). The rest of the afternoon is free for you to explore Nainital. We recommend a visit to Snow View by means of a Gondola (ropeway) from where you will get the most spectacular view of the snow – capped peaks (ticket for Gondola ride on direct payment).

Day 04: In Nainital
After breakfast proceed on a local tour of Nainital. Visit Naina Devi Temple and Hanuman Garhi. Rest of the day is free to explore this quaint little hill station as your stroll down the Mall.

Day 05: On to Haridwar (272kms / approx. 7 hour drive)
Today, depart to the holy city of Haridwar. On arrival check into the hotel. Rest of the day free or you could the various temples, Ashrams and the ghats in Haridwar on your own.

Day 06: In Haridwar * Excursion to Rishikesh (40kms / approx. 1 hour drive)
Proceed on an excursion to Rishikesh. Visit Ganga Ghat, Laxman Jhhula and Ashrams. Returns to your hotel in the afternoon. As the sun sets, pilgrims assemble at Har-ki-Pauri to perform aarti and offer diyas and marigold flowers to river Ganga. We recommend that your reach the ghats, on your own, in time to witness this spectacle as thousand of diyas float on the river carrying with them people hopes and aspirations, said to be an experience of a lifetime.
Day 07: On to Delhi (220kms/ approx. 5 hours drive) * Bid farewell
Today bid farewell to the Land of Ganges as your ‘Uttarakhand Heritage’ tour comes to an end with a journey back to Delhi. The tour ends with a drop to the Delhi railway station or airport.
